I used to spiral into that comparison loop, thinking, “I’m so behind.” Like life was a race and I forgot to wear my running shoes.

But then it hit me: if life really is a race… where’s the finish line?

After a mini meltdown (and two hours of overthinking while pretending to be productive),

I realized something simple but freeing:

Everyone moves at their own pace.

Your friend who just bought a house? Amazing. Your cousin who just figured out her passion at 35? Equally amazing.

Timing matters. But not in the way we think.

Look at nature.

Do flowers bloom at the same time? Nope.

Do we stress if a rose blooms later than a daisy? Also nope.

Do we eat mangoes in December? Not unless we like disappointment.

So maybe… just maybe, you’re not behind.

You’re just on a different track. And honestly? That’s more than okay.

Because life isn’t a race.

It’s more like a giant, confusing group project — where nobody really knows what they’re doing, some people fake confidence really well, and the deadline keeps changing.

So take a breath.

Do your Google Form (eventually).

And remember: blooming late is still blooming.
